Everyone's version of “locking in” seems to be synonymous with self-isolation, but doing hard things alone makes them feel even harder. So why treat adulting like a solo project? You don’t get any extra credit points!
Being digitally over-connected and “catch-up culture friendships,” have become commonplace for many of us. With ease, we relegate friends to being witnesses to our lives, leaving ourselves to figure things out alone and discuss with friends after the fact. What if we intentionally built lives that intersected with each other and supported each other in real time? If we chose it, adulting could look like sharing the weight of responsibilities, goals, obstacles, highs and lows.
Below is a list of things you probably already do that you can start doing with others to help adulting feel a lot less lonely.

So, the next Sunday evening you’re faced with 7 days worth of to-do lists, unanswered texts, uncooked groceries, commitments, deadlines, and events you may or may not go to. Instead of trying to figure out how to do it all alone…
